Wellhead's History 2000

2001	Establishment of Wellhead Biological Technology Corp.
2003	Corporate headquarters established in Taipei, and a storage center established at Yangmei during the same year. Launch meeting held for the new products "Superstar Slender and Superstar Silhouette," Golden Bell Awards host Lily Tien Li hired as a spokesperson. These products are sold through TV Shopping Channel, ETMC shopping channel, and Taiwan-wide Watsons, Cosmed pharmacy, and Shengji chain stores. Awarded the 2004 National Consumer Product Gold Medal.
2004	In a major breakthrough, Wellhead's R&D team uses fungi for biochemical fermentation, which can be used to produce the ginsenosides Rh2, Rg3, and rare ginsenosides. Invention patent applications are prepared for the key technologies involved in this process. This breakthrough has enabled Wellhead to produce highly competitive products, and has laid a foundation for further development of scientific Chinese herbal medicine and new drug development.
2007	Establishment of "Longtan Plant No. 1," which is Taiwan's sole ginsenoside manufacturing and R&D center; Taipei headquarters, Kaohsiung subsidiary, and Yangmei storage center are relocated at the Longtan Plant No. 1. Approved for Taiwan invention patent - ginsenoside process technology.

Wellhead's History 2010

2010	The affiliate "Baeshi Leisure Farm" is established in Nanzhuang, Miaoli County, and applies "high-tech, green, non-toxic" concepts to R&D and products, including the farm's fruits, vegetables, flowers, plants, aquaculture, livestock, and ecology.
2011	Establishment of the "Longtan Plant No. 2," which becomes Taiwan's first amino oligosaccharin production and R&D center. Establishment of the "Antrodia cinnamomea culture R&D center," which performs research and development on liquid and solid fermentation, fungal culture on basswood, and the active components of Antrodia cinnamomea. Approved for US invention patent - ginsenoside process technology.
2013	Completion of ginsenoside cellular and animal experiments; discovery of new ginsenoside indications and applications.
2017	Wellhead won the "Consumer Health & Safety Org., R.O.C" and was awarded the "Gold Medal" for the highest quality of the country. Approved for US invention patents - Use of rare ginsenoside for treating lupus nephritis.
2018	Approved for EU invention patents - use of rare ginsenoside for treating lupus nephritis. Approved for EU and Germany invention patents - use of rare ginsenoside for treating IgA nephropathy. Approved for US invention patents - use of rare ginsenoside for preventing or treating gout. Approved for US invention patents - use of rare ginsenoside for preventing or treating silicosis. Apply for use of rare ginsenoside for treating huntington's disease patent. Established the "Ginseng Planting Base Planning Center" in Wausau, Wisconsin, USA. Held a press conference for ginsenoside M1 in the treatment of kidney disease.
2019	Established "Longtan Plant No. 3," as a small-scale trial production and R&D center. Approved for Taiwan and China invention patents - use of rare ginsenoside for treating lupus nephritis. Approved for Taiwan, US, China and Japan invention patents - use of rare ginsenoside for treating IgA nephropathy. Approved for Taiwan invention patents - use of rare ginsenoside for preventing or treating gout. Approved for Taiwan and EU invention patents - use of rare ginsenoside for preventing or treating silicosis. Approved for Taiwan, US, EU and Japan invention patents - use of rare ginsenoside for inhibiting renal fibrosis. Approved for Taiwan invention patents - use of polyenylpyrrole derivatives for treating inflammation.
